INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19

Our Policies and Procedures

Although our attorneys and staff are continuing to work diligently for our clients, in conformance with the guidance and recommendations of the CDC and other authorities our physical office locations are open by appointment only. We can offer appointments in our physical office locations under limited circumstances only when necessary. We are happy to work with you to develop a personalized plan to meet your legal needs through telephone, video conference, and other means despite these unusual circumstances. Please review our standards and procedures for addressing all your legal needs during the COVID-19 pandemic or call (352) 795-0404 to review our meeting options.

1. I am a current or prospective client and I need to meet with an attorney.

In addition to traditional telephonic meetings, our offices are also equipped with the technology to offer virtual tele-meetings with our attorneys using video conferencing. Our attorneys are able to share and review documents with you during your tele-meeting. For information on scheduling a tele-meeting or a telephonic appointment, please call our office at (352) 795-0404. Our staff can also update you on the best way to transmit any documents for our attorneys to review to our office in advance of your scheduled remote meeting.

2. I just need to drop something off.

If you have documents or items that were requested by our firm or that are related to your ongoing legal matter, please call our office and our staff will identify the best way to retrieve those items from you. Of course, documents can always be mailed to us at PO Box 2016, Lecanto, FL 34460. If your items are time sensitive, you may fax or email documents to our office. We also have a physical drop box outside our Crystal River location where documents or small items may be securely deposited. If you use our drop box, please call or email us and let us know and our staff will retrieve your items.

3. I need a face-to-face meeting.

Most legal needs can be addressed without an in-person meeting. However, there are still circumstances when face-to-face meetings are required. Our attorneys will review your legal matter to determine whether your specific circumstance requires an in-person meeting and, if so, our staff will coordinate an appointment time with you. We will work to keep your visit in our office as efficient as possible. This may include providing documents for your review or completion prior to your arrival. We ask that you arrive prepared and promptly at your scheduled appointment time, as all appointments are scheduled to minimize contact between our visitors. Please keep in mind that you will be required to wear a protective face mask at all times during your visit. Visitors must also be prepared to follow all No Contact directives posted within the building.

4. I can’t wear a face mask.

Face masks are required to be worn over the nose and mouth at all times inside our office locations. If you are not comfortable wearing a face mask at all times during your visit, simply advise our staff prior to visiting our office. We will be more than happy to make alternate arrangements for meeting your legal needs that do not require you to enter our office location.

The health and safety of our staff, clients, and visitors remains our greatest concern. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we adapt to best meet the needs of our clients and ensure the safety of our staff and our community members.
