After you’ve done a Will, it should be kept in a safe place. Many people have safes at home where they like to keep their Will. Others use a safe deposit box at the bank. At our firm, we typically maintain the original Wills in a very safe and secure location for our clients. Of course, you would have a copy that would allow you to review as needed to determine if changes are necessary. But your Will should be kept in a safe place because the original of that document is the most important.
